This is a blog that concentrates on the influences and writing of two aspiring author friends called Thadeus Morticaine and Dan Coghlan. They have been friends for many years and found that they have a common interest in what they write, even though they write different things.

Thadeus Morticaine is working on a series of Folk horror stories, fantasy stories, some ghost stories and some sci-fi. He likes HP Lovecraft, Gareth L Powell, Robert Rankin and Kim Newman. He is also very much into his folktales and Celtic and Norse myths and legends.

Dan Coghlan is currently working on a Sword and Sorcery series about a Wood Elf Barbarian, and also a pulp fiction style series of Post-Apocalyptic stories. He likes Robert E Howard and Steve Dilks, as well as Lin Carter and Clarke Ashton Smith.

 Hello everyone!

Yikes! It's been nearly a fortnight since I last did a post, and there was me thinking I had enough going on to do a handful of extra blog posts once in a while.

As you may have seen, I have retweeted a bit about the Kickstarter created by Gilead which is still going. And which you can still get involved with here.

The Kickstarter of Gilead will also set him up to start producing his fantastic fantasy art in other formats and in different ways, so please take a look.

But with my last post, I think I'd waxed lyrically about a new magazine which had had its test issue out, called New Edge Sword and Sorcery, which seems to have been quite popular. Its available at cost and if things continue to go well, they'll do actual issues and the first two will be put up on Kickstarter. I'll let you know more about that as I learn more. Hopefully one day, I may have a story or two in there of my own.

And those photo's were taken while I enjoyed my copy with a pint of tasty Bass in Derby's oldest pub, The Dolphin, which dates back to the 16th century.

In other news, I received my copy of Tales From The Magician's Skull number 7. I think in the last post, I'd recently ordered it, but it was coming all the way from America on its own little adventure. So, to my surprise, it plopped through my letterbox after a week.

Though I'm late in enjoying this issue - the Kickstarter backers received their issue in February and are now receiving issue 8 - but there are some really nice stories in it. I'm not disappointed. James Enge and John C Hocking are reliably excellent and very entertaining. I won't share a photo of me reading it while, shall we say, enthroned.

I have also managed to get a couple of Kickstarter rewards through that are good. Both are supplements to the Old School Essentials ttrpg game. One is Axian Library which adds a lot of extra bits and bobs, goodies and buyables, encounters and dangers to one's game of deadly peril.

Another is Toxic Woods by Lazy Lich, which provides a fantasy campaign setting suitable for, again, old School Essentials ttrpg. I could only find a link to Lazy Lich's twitter for updates on this. So I provide a link to Lazy Lich so you can follow them for yourself.

Anyway, onto writing and what I've done since the last post. I've completed a fair amount. I'm still working on a fantasy novella that includes pirates, Fomori, an elf barbarian, a wizard and mutant cultists, oh and an insane goddess protecting a holy space. But it's not been coming along as quickly as I'd sort of hoped. I think, originally, I'd hoped to have it finished around about now. But I'm now, as of writing this post, about half way through, which is a shame. But 17,000 words in that time isn't too shabby.

I'd felt a bit overwhelmed by it a couple of times over this last fortnight and needed to take a couple of days off from it to try and recuperate from it. Oddly, the sixth chapter was the shortest in terms of word count, but also it took the longest to actually write. It wound me up a little, but I think I've got passed that now.

While I was taking a couple of days off from my novella, I didn't spend it wasting time. I did managed to start and complete a fantasy short story that I'm quite pleased about. Its 5,200 words long and sees my elf barbarian character take down a long dead liche upon its return to un-life after many centuries. I'm quite pleased with how it panned out, but I think it will be cut down to be much shorter. I was trying to get into a very Sword and Sorcery style with it. In fact, when I come to running through all my fantasy stories again for edits and another draft, I think they'll become significantly shorter.

Anyway, I've returned to the fantasy novella and I've passed the troublesome chapter six, so things should start picking up again and I might have it completed by halfway through November, hopefully sooner. I may take some time off from it again to take a rest from it. But that is mainly so I can do another fantasy short story that involves a barroom brawl between wizards. Cue things getting way too out of hand and, despite the cleverness of wizards, a lot of stupid collateral damage is expected as they stupidly decide to bring spells to a fist fight.

And that's it for today. Hopefully I'll be able to get another writing blog post or two in during the week as I've a couple of other ttrpg things I'd like to show off - including some Gaia Complex and some WFRP 4th edition. If I don't, I'll just have to show them off next week.

Farewell everybody!

Monday, October 3, 2022

 Hello everyone!

I think this'll be a moderately long post.

First off, my writing seems to be going pretty well recently... pretty well. But it's always the same old thing, I would rather like to increase my daily average word count a fair amount, but how exactly I'll do that, I'm unsure.

But, I've been working on a novella, replete with pirates, wizards, knights, elf barbarians, evil cultists, Fomori and a strange god being. I've been at it about nine days and I'm a quarter of the way through it - just over ten thousand words. Which is fair, but i feel like I've struggled a little to get into the full swing of it.

So, what I did, was to start a short story to try and surpass this. And it seems to have worked. I started it yesterday, I'm two thousand words in, and I think I've almost finished it. I think I will today, but whether I pick up the novella today as well and carry on with that today as well, I'm not sure. I'll return to it nevertheless. Hopefully the break will have refreshed the old noggin.

I'm actually quite pleased with the short story so far, it's about the defeat of an ancient liche as it comes to life once again. I realise it could well rely on some well worn sword and sorcery tropes, but it's a story I've wanted to write in a few months so far, but haven't managed to get around to it for one reason or another.

And with that, that is what I've been doing with my writing over the last week. And on to other things. I am planning on a few stories over the coming weeks and months. i'll be working on completing a few first drafts then work through rewrites, then edits etc. It might not be the best way to go about doing this, but it's the way I think makes sense.

As I said in a post I wrote roughly a week ago, I intend to write a few posts about other sundry things that are adjacent to my fantasy writing. With that, a few things have happened.

I have ordered the seventh issue of Tales From The Magician's Skull and that is yet to come, because of sundry things relating to it being part of a kickstarter before being available to the public. Some are receiving the eighth issue as the seventh comes on sale to the public and mine is now on the way. Much to my jealousy - a jest of course. I'll be including that in a blog post when it arrives.

I have also signed up with Discord, and I'm quite enjoying it. there is one server I've joined that I'm particularly enjoying dedicated to all things related to fantasy writing and it's sundry peripherals, including magazines, TV and games. I've actually found it greatly reassuring and a wonderful asset. I know feel part of a community with my writing, which is something that I've not really ever felt.

It was through this discord server that I managed to find out about the New Edge Swords and Sorcery magazine, which has had it's issue zero, a test piece issue to iron out wrinkles and the like and see if organising regular issues would be viable. and I got my issue through the post yesterday.

New Edge Sword and Sorcery, issue 0

I've delved into it only briefly. It is a magazine of two halves really. The first has a collection of five stories, and the second half involves a handful of Sword and Sorcery articles. One from Howard Andrew Jones, and some exploring Sword and Sorcery in a modern age. There is even an in depth look at Dark Agnes, which I've found to be of particular interest so far.

I've read many of the articles so far, and I've found them very interesting, coming from a place of authority in the Sword and Sorcery genre. I'll try and put things in a better review anon.

You can visit their facebook page here and visit their website here and explore things yourself.

I also managed to get a canny t-shirt for myself as well.

It's from a talented and hard working artist that I like called Gilead. I got this off his Redbubble site.

But he can also be visited on his instagram, his twitter, his amazon and his patreon.

He also has a kickstarter live as he is trying to fund a book of his work. Please check it out and back if it tickles your fancy

Anyway, that's pretty much the bulk of what I want to say in this post, other than, I'm sorely tempted to start playing some RPGs. I've started a Discord server for friends to play and share relevant things. And of course, the usual thing is the case, organising the players around their schedules is being frustrating. But, that's to be expected to the point that cartoons are made about it.

Anyway, I hope to see you all soon, farewell!

 Hi everyone!

This is sort of one of the extra blog posts about other sundry stuff that has been happening recently that I think would be of interest to everyone, something that is writing, fantasy or sword and sorcery adjacent.

This is sort of a shout out to a friend who is a very talented artist, who's art has been used as a inspiration for many a fantasy story. He has a selection of colouring books out and also a portfolio of his work.

His name is Gilead.

For a bigger selection of his work than I can provide here, please take a look at his Instagram, his Twitter, his Amazon shop, and if you really like what you see, please take a look at his Patreon.

He has a selection of T-shirts, stickers and things available here on Redbubble, if you follow the link.

But mainly I wanted to share some of his artwork and to also plug the kickstarter for his next portfolio of work. If you click any of the pictures below, it should take you to his kickstarter. Please take a look and consider supporting a talented artist who has supported many a creative - myself included - so that his work can be enjoyed anon.

 Hello everyone!

I realise that its been a while since I last did a blog post.

Unfortunately, life somewhat got in the way a bit. There have been illnesses and deaths and to be honest, things got on top of be a bit back there. But I'm back now, hopefully with a regular blog post again.

My made plan is still going ahead, I want to write a small selection of fantasy novellas and also, some short stories to send off to anthologies. I'm sort of planning on doing this in batches. Write a bunch of first drafts, then rewrite them, then edit and have beta read and all that jazz. Then will come self-publishing the novellas and then sending out the short stories.

There are a few regular  anthologies and magazines that I'd like to send them to. These are mainly Tales from the Magician's Skull, Whetstone and Swords and Sorceries: Tales of Heroic Fantasy. This will all hopefully get the ball rolling.

Sword and Sorceries:
Tales of Heroic Fantasy
Volume 1

Currently, and I regret that things haven't moved on quicker, I am still on the first draft stage. I've two short stories and a novella involving Gwaeloch Irisgarth, a barbarian. he is the last elf in a medieval world mainly populated by humans and monsters. But other fantastical races do exist.

My current work in progress is a novella where Gwaeloch Irisgarth teams up with a wizard to explore strange energy fluctuations in the magick field. On the way, there are pirates, insane knights, a demonologist and a fomor township. I'm not too far into this story yet, but I'll be happy finishing the first draft in three weeks. But there'll be updates about that as time goes by.

After this, I want to get into another novella about ghoul dwarves and also write about four short stories, one involving a barroom brawl between wizards. Another will be a shorter piece about defeating an ancient liche. And in another, I'd like to do something like a dungeon delve, riffing on the concept of the DnD party, but where everyone back stabs each other and where many members die to the party's own incompetence and selfishness.

One thing I've always had in the back of my mind, something I was going to pursue before starting this novella, was to write a swords and sorcery novel. I just wanted to get the first draft done. I think it would help with some development with the character and the series, but that was something I wanted to do later on. I currently don't know what I would do with the novel, whether I'd self-publish it or get look into getting it traditionally published. I'm not sure yet. Ideally, I'd turn that into a trilogy, as you do with fantasy novels.

Anyway, I just thought I'd give a bit of an update on stuff, remind you good folks that I'm still here. There are other relevant things I'd like to tell you about, but I think that can wait until another blog post. Rest assured, it is still fantasy and sword and sorcery related. Some of it is even DnD related.

With that, i'll just wish you all a good farewell for now.

Sunday, May 29, 2022

 Hello everyone!

Yes, its been a bit of a slow writing week so far. I think I even missed one of these blog posts last week.

There are a couple of reasons for that, well... one big one. That has been to do with perhaps still having the bad stomach from a couple of weeks ago, and also, for quite a while, I've been trying to organise seeing a doctor for several ailments that have developed since I last saw a doctor in 2018.

Its been a long, convoluted journey that's taken two months so far and I've still not actually seen one. In fact, I've not even managed to speak to one yet.

On the other hand, I have been booked into have blood tests, which have taken more than a fortnight to organise from the appointment's request to actually having it. That has been a bit of an adventure in itself.  I'm due to have that on Wednesday.

Its taken so long because of restrictions due to the 'good old plague' that we've been going through. I can understand, but it just feels like it takes so very long to get stuff done.

So far, that whole thing just feels like its bogged me down quite a lot and I haven't managed to get much done in the way of writing at all.

On other news, after some more of a kerfuffle because Hermes was being Hermes and being particularly difficult, I managed to get my Blood Bowl box set through the post, or rather, I had to claim a refund and order a replacement copy. I wonder if the couriers are still withholding the old box from the seller? wretched couriers.

blood bowl, youtube, dwarf, gwaeloch irisgarth, fantasy, sword and sorcery, short story, story, novella, novellas, short stories, story, stories, elf, barbarian, wizard, covers, first draft, WIP, series,
Blood Bowl Second Season Boxset

I'm enjoying reading the rules and there's a fairly big dose of nostalgia about it from my childhood and also, I've a couple of friends interested in the teams, while I play with the dwarves from previous posts. There are even talks about starting a wargaming YouTube channel eventually. I'm not sure when. There are other things to consider.

But onto writing, I have been still planning a few stories. There are two short stories and a novella that I've be concentrating on to get down in first draft form. They'll be the Gwaeloch Irisgarth fantasy stories, like the others and once they are done, I'll work my way through editing the short stories and novellas and get them out there.

I'd been asked about my intentions with them - by someone who seems particularly forgetful - but they do seem genuinely curious, if quite irritating. They were also asking about covers, which is something that shouldn't be though about just yet.

Anyway, I'm hoping that once the blood tests are done with, things with the doctor should feel like they're progressing and I can soon start fully concentrating on things again.

Al the best to each and every one of you. Farewell.

 Hello everyone!

Well, there is a little to tell for this last week, but not too much.

That illness persisted for a while. I still have it in some regards, but I'm feeling a lot better. Darn stomach bugs... Yes, I'd really not felt right with that, and still don't feel a hundred per cent. And this was while I was waiting on the doctor to call too. They still haven't, but hat's to help sort out a few other ailments instead. Things should progress soon. I'm to go get my blood tested at some point soon. More on that another day. I know the health service is over stretched, but I'm getting a bit tetchy about a few things now.

But with writing, not much has happened. There's been a fair amount of planning going on. I've been bitting and bobbing with a new novella and a short story plan, but that stomach complaint has got in the way quite a bit.

One thing I have managed to do is to work out a better magick system, to actually formalise parts of it and come up with the ten disciplines, to at least be used in relation to the professors at the Magickal College. I'd sort of pantsed it in regards to the magick in the three stories I've got first drafts for already. Now I have a proper reference sheet for it. I want to get some background/character sheets done for the heads of those disciplines at the Magickal College soon, then I'll feel comfortable with it.

Anyway, soon I should be able to get my head around another fantasy short story and another fantasy novella. Which is nice.

But other than that, I've also been waiting on a box set of Blood Bowl. It should have already arrived, but I'm still awaiting its arrival. Sigh. I'm sort of getting into that a fair amount and am quite excited for it to actually arrive. I have a Dwarf Blood Bowl team and part of a Norsca Blood Bowl team already. I just need to learn how to play.

Anyway, farewell everybody!

 Hello everyone!

Well, I've started planning a couple of first drafts to follow on from fantasy novella I finished. One is a short story based on what will happen were wizards to start a barroom brawl in the same fantasy series. I like the idea of an elaborate chaos spilling out into the street because of some petty semantic argument of some minor magickal technique.

The other story is a fantasy novella and will have the same sidekick as the first novella in it. A Fimir village guards a pocket dimension holding the shard of a god. A pirate fleet and an army of cultists want to gain the shard and try to conquer the village and the heroes are on the side of the Fimir.

I've got a fair way into planning both of these tales and I would have liked to have started one, preferably the short story, but I've come down with some sort of stomach bug which sees me having to go and sit on the toilet an embarrassing amount of times. Its getting a bit tedious now. I've had it most of a week now and I'm getting to feel a bit downtrodden by it now and it'd be nice to get back to normal. Hopefully that'll happen soon. It should do, It seems to be changing fairly quickly in regards to some of the symptoms.

Anyway, not much else has happened. There was a Pagan Moot in Derby that I had to miss, two in fact because of this, but I was able to catch up with some folks while at home. The newer group seems to be developing well and the older one is chugging on like normal. I think there was a glut of new faces at both, which is nice.

But other than that, nothing much has happened.

I did managed to stat reading a new games book recently, based on Lankhmar setting by Fritz Leiber for the Dungeon Crawl Classics game set for their TTRPG, very curious stuff. I look forward to playing some of it.

 Hello everyone!

Well, well, well, I did manage to finish the novella during the week, which I'm pleased to announce. It was on Thursday that it happened and I think, with a word count on that day of over 4,700 words, I think its the most productive day I've had in a while. The novella now weighs in at a little over 25,000 words so far.

I've yet to do an edit on it though and I think that it will be cut down a bit, but I'm expecting that. I'm sort of aiming to self publish this novella and as long as it totals more than 8,400 words in total, I'm happy as there are minimum restrictions to stuff being published in the way I'd like to.

Anyway, it has now been added to a 'to be edited' pile with a couple of short stories in the same series. I want to do another couple of novellas and about 4 short stories that I'd like to have down in first draft form and then I'll work through the stack, editing it.

Though with the next few stories, I'd like to make that post four thousand word daily total an average. Perhaps I am being hard on myself with that as I am sort of comparing my productivity to what I was able to do a handful of years ago, but those days saw me working so hard, I ended up in hospital. So that's something to work around. Anyway, the 1,400 words a day average I did during the novella, I'm happy enough with.

Anyway, what have I been doing since Thursday?

I've been planning the next couple of stories: that's what. There is a short story based on what happens when a wizard college pub has a bar room brawl and  there is a novella based on a three way battle over a trans dimensional portal to a pocket dimension at the centre of a Fimir village. Pirates are involved.

Friday saw me also attend a birthday party. The lady who inspired the sidekick in my novella had her 50th birthday, which was nice.

Also, yesterday was May Day, a day of celebration for me, and celebrate I did. I'm feeling much the worse the ware for it today though. But after seeing my dad, I went to The Dolphin and The Flowerpot in Derby and a few friends were bumped into there, which was nice. Though I had pencilled in meeting a friend in the suburbs for an afternoon trip, but things were left a bit late to organise things with that.

But anyway, if you like Vikings, history and folktales, take a look at his YouTube channel here.

 Hello everyone!

Well, this last week has been a busy writing week for me, which is nice.

I was wondering whether to postpone this post a few more days until I'd finished the first draft of my current novella, but that may still a little while off nonetheless. I should still finish it during the week, over the next couple of days or so in fact, but still.

I had wondered if I may have been able to have finished it by now, but that wasn't the case, where I had wondered originally - a few months ago - if it would total 25,000 words, I did start wondering if it would be nearer 12,000 words when I made my last post. But its currently totalling a little over 19,000 words and I've still the main climax and conclusory passage to do, so it probably will be nearer 25,000 words like I originally thought.

What that means is that I'll have the first draft of a novella that will be 60 to 70 pages long.

But enough numerical stuff. I should have this done by Friday, which is good because my main character, Gwaeloch Irisgarth is to be accompanied by a version of a friend of mine who will appear as a wizard's apprentice. I really am hoping to have it completed by Friday as it will be her birthday then and it'll make a nice little present for her, even if it is in rough form.

Yes, I've just to somehow work out how to do a four way showdown - with a liche and a being from the stars, and the apprentice's old master, and someone who'd previously captured the heroic duo. Easy (suppresses a mild sense of panic deep down inside).

But otherwise, in my writing world, nothing much has taken place. I am still enjoying Jungle Tomb of the Mummy Bride for DCC with all its added content.

It really is a good book with plenty of options to expand the original quest and to probably triple or quadruple its run time. It really fleshes out the jungle around the Mummy Bride's tomb with snake men, cannibals, fungal men of universal knowledge and other things.

Other  than that, there isn't really much else to say about things. Next week, I should definitely have the current novella first draft finished and should have either started or be planning the next first draft - there is a small selection of stories I'd like to write, in various states of preparation. Its just a choice of which to work on first.

 Hello everyone!

Well, that was a good writing week. I'm really quite pleased with progress so far. To be honest, I had planned on making a post on Monday, but to be honest, I'd lost track of time. So, here we go.

I still feel a bit awkward about how life had got in the way before with writing and to be honest, I'm not really sure how to think about it, it still feels a bit of a weird two or three weeks having to divert my attention so whole-heartedly.

But needless to say, I'm back writing and have managed to dedicate much of every day over the last nine days to writing, though I did have to start the novella over again, which is a shame.

Looking back, I wasn't too happy about the way that the original draft was going, so starting again was probably for the best. The previous draft had taken three weeks to get half way through - about ten thousand words - and though its looking to be a shorter story than expected, not by much but after nine days, I'm at the same word count and I think the first draft could total around seventeen thousand words.

I seem to be averaging about one thousand one hundred words a day. Its not much, but its manageable for me. I think I could have the rest of the story finished by next Tuesday. Its the day after I normally do a blog post, but I may hold off on the next post until then so that I can fully update folks on things and plans. I think I know what I'll be doing next, but I'll wait until then to write about it.

Anyway, you may be asking what this novella is about. Well, in short, its about an elf barbarian called Gwaeloch Irisgarth who gets employed by a wizard apprentice called Yasmina Bruhns - who is actually based on a friend who gave me permission to do so - to help find her mistress, a fully qualified wizard who lives deep in an ancient forest that covers a vast area. They think the wizard had gone after something called the Royal Star, and on the way, they get involved with evil satyrs and also find a ruined elven city, dead for centuries, filled with the undead. And things culminate there.

Its a story that I've been trying to get my head around for a few months and its been a bit difficult. I've not really been used to writing something so long and its been hard planning to get the level of content suitable for a story two or three times the length of what I'm used to. To be honest, its wound me up quite a lot on occasion and I had originally planned to have this ready for publication with another novella by Christmas and that hasn't happened. Its sort of something that's really got to me, even if I don't always like to admit it.

Its one of those things, sometimes and for some reasons that I'm not sure I fully understand, I sometimes have great anxiety over projects. I think it stems from a time when I was basically anorexic and a workoholic and had to give up writing for a while to recover. I even ended up in hospital a couple of times with a suspected heart attack.

I think some of my anxiety around trying to get fully back into writing is down to that. If anyone has any tips to help, that would be great as I do feel that I still pressurize myself with it a lot and I want to get passed that. I keep remembering the days where I used to be able to do seventeen thousand words a day - a word count I've only heard of Michael Moorcock rivalling when he was on cocaine.

I realise that's not practical in the slightest, but improving my daily word count would be great too. I'd sort of like to average about four to five thousand words a day, but at best, I manage half that and it sort of feels a bit disappointing. Anyway, if anyone has any times about that too - improving word count, please let me know.

Anyway, that's enough from me. To be honest, I can't really think of anything else that's particularly bloggable at this time, other than me ordering an all female dwarf Blood Bowl team, but that's still to arrive. I still want to get the main box set to learn the game. I miss it. I may even do a write up of some games or some videos or something once that's sorted.

All Female Dwarf Blood Bowl Team

With that all out of the way and with part of that getting a lot deeper than I thought it would, I just want to wish everyone good health and prosperity.

Bye bye everyone!

 Hello everyone!

Guess what, life still got in the way after my last blog post. Yeah, I was hoping that that wouldn't happen, but it has. But anyway, I think there'll be a little influence over my writing and a few more minor commitments, but no so drastic as they have been over the last month.

That unfortunately means that I've managed to get very little writing down in the fortnight since my last post, and that's something I was almost immediately dreading. I'm still not sure I want to go into what has happened too much, but I think there is some much needed help coming in to some areas, which I'll welcome.

Onto some peripheral things that have happened in the meantime that is actually relevant. One thing I've been thinking about is to include some wargaming and roleplay games that I think are relevant. I have got into a game called The Woods by Oakbound Studios, which I love the background to, with inspirations from Celtic Myth, King Arthur Legends, Welsh Legends, some Brian Froud things and some terry Pratchett inspiration. I've been painting up some models, all be in badly, ready for a few games. I do need to base them up properly. Please excuse the quality of the photos as well.

Also, I received my copies of Jungle Tomb of the Mummy Bride, a campaign setting for DnD 5th Edition and also for Dungeon Crawl Classics. I managed to get a copy for each. Hopefully, they be available for general sale soon.

Anyway, where am I heading from here? Will I be continuing writing?

Of course I will. I realise that life has got in the way recently, but storytelling is something I serious about. It sometimes feels like there are so many stories in my head that its difficult to get them all down quick enough. Sometimes that's a problem - it doesn't exactly aid focusing. But still, even if I have difficulty getting stiff out there for you guys to read, it's still something I'm serious about doing.

So what's happening with the story I was working on until recently?

Well, I think I've lost momentum with it at the moment. I think that it would be much easier to start the story over again. It's a shame, I was about half way through the first draft, but I'm having difficulty building the momentum up with it again. To be honest, I'm not really happy with how the first half was going as well. There were clunky bits in it and I think it could generally have gone a lot better anyway. I think starting it over again could fix a number of the problems that I'm seeing at the moment. I'm still having difficulty getting the characters to the nub of the story, to the necropolis of a mummified elf king. But those should work themselves out.

I still have the other couple of stories to edit, but that'll be once I've completed a couple more first drafts. I want to go through things in batches, get a few first drafts done, then work through them with second drafts, and then edits and so on.

Anyway, I think that's enough for this week. Hopefully I'll have a lot more writing based news to share with you. I hope you all are well and I'll see you next time.
